I want to share with you a vegetable soup recipe for your family to enjoy. And hopefully, be able to convince you to do more home cooked meals.
Sitting down and eating together can really improve your family life.
Many family members think that a family's kitchen should be the beating heart of the home, and there can surely be no debate that preparing meals at home is a great social bonding experience.
Even for a beginner it is quite possible to make a healthy dinner that is quite as gratifying as those made by the chef at a top restaurant, for far less money.
If you make the decision to cook at home you have the advantage of being able to be very selective in choosing the different ingredients that are needed for the recipe.
If you only want to cook using Soil Association approved organic foods, you can easily do so.
You can even examine the fruit and vegetables you are buying in person, and verify that you are purchasing just the freshest foodstuffs, in perfect condition.
Perhaps the most surprising advantage is that it will save you hours.
What surprises most people is that is it frequently much faster than eating in a restaurant. If you allow for the time it takes getting ready, getting to the eating place, the time taken for the attendant to take your order, then the time taken for the meal to be delivered, there is no question that home cooking is far quicker.
